Methods Reporting

SSG’s data-collection services feature a Methods Report that describes the survey methodology and technical details of administering your study.  This report is a useful resource for preparing presentations and the “methods” section of publications. It describes the:

  • Study background
  • Implementation of previous iterations
  • Sample selection and design
  • Materials prepared to support data collection
  • Respondent communications
  • Data collection dates
  • Response rates (including calculations)
  • Procedures followed in analytic dataset creation
  • Challenges during data collection and their resolution
  • Unforeseen events (such as natural disasters or emergencies) believed to affect respondents
