Research Subjects Privacy Policy

Survey Sciences Group, LLC (SSG) upholds the highest standards in protecting the privacy of all information we collect from respondents and research collaborators. The following policy stipulations apply to all SSG employees, as well as any participants involved in research conducted by SSG. It covers all data and personal information stored at any SSG facility or on the SSG computer network.

Research Participants

All responses to our research are completely confidential. Any information you provide is used strictly for research purposes. Information about you provided to us by any of our collaborators is also confidential and used exclusively for research. This information will be stored securely and accessible only to the appropriate personnel.

We do not rent, sell, or give your personal information to any third party for the purpose of directly marketing any products or services to you. In some cases, we may need to share your personal information with third parties that provide additional research services necessary for administering the study. Any third party that receives your personal information is obligated to follow the SSG privacy policy summarized in this document.

Research participation is voluntary; each of our studies provides instructions for indicating your refusal to be part of a study. Alternately, you may withdraw your participation at any point after initiating the study. You may exercise your right to decline or withdraw without any negative consequences.

You may request access to the personal information we have collected about you. We will correct any information that is inaccurate or incomplete, change your consent status, or delete your personal information from our records.

Children

We do not contact children under the age of 16 without consent from a parent or guardian.

Information Security

We maintain all necessary physical, technological, and procedural security measures to help safeguard client data and personal information. If third-party support services require access to your personal information in order for us to administer the study, we require them to use similarly rigorous security measures.

Cookies
Many websites use “cookies” to store information about a user in order to expedite the completion of forms on future visits to that site. Unless we explicitly state otherwise, SSG does not use cookies on our website. The only information we collect from you on our website or any web-based survey is the information you provide.

Information Disclosure

Under certain circumstances, we may be compelled by law to disclose your personal information without giving notice.
